Hello World :)

The next update might be delayed due to minor disturbances resulting from the end of the world.

But I'll be working on it, so stay tuned :)

Yeah, again a long time passed since the last update. Actually lots of stuff happened. One of them was that my computer broke down. It worked just perfectly when I got to sleep and when I switched it on again after I got up - nothing. So I went to the local apple store (which is located in the same district I live in but yet it takes about 1 hour to get there >< ) to get it fixed. At the genius bar they told me that it would probably need around 10-14 days, because they were short in supplies (maybe because of the vulcano erruption and the fact that all airports have been closed for around a week). Luckily  it already got fixed 4 days later. Yay... And thanks to the apple care plan the repair was for free.
This weekend I've been home to my mothers house. The last time I've really been there for more than a single day was during the christmas season. The trip was fun, but I just wonder why people always have to choose the trains I want to ride for their suicide? Again, trains have been around 3 hours late because of suicides - or accidents with human damage - as they are official called. Mhm but okay, in Germany they seem to give you 2 Euro Food coupons for free... I used to live next to a line which was very famous for suicides in Japan, so I often was late but did not get any food for free  :(
As I don't have a TV in my dorm room (and almost no time to watch TV anyways) I've been watching TV for the first time this year at my mothers house. Maybe because yesterday was the 65th anniversary of losing the WW2, they've been broadcasting documentaries for more than 8 hours staight. Some of it was kinda interesting, but the composition was a little weird. When I switched on, they had a documentary about how people have been suffering during the soviet and american  occupation, then something about the current war in Afghanistan and the next one was a "We have the worlds most advanced tank, we have the worlds most advanced jet, and we're looking for people defending our countries freedom in Afghanistan"-documentary.   Whatever would be the meaning in there. But anyways, the Panzer Driving School in Munster is really freaky. They use the same "driving school" stickers found on any driving school car inside the country even on a 60 ton heavy camouflaged tank :omfg:

Easter has passed and so university started again. I think I managed it now to sign up for most of the classes I need, some mandatory and some law classes about topics regarding my M.A.-thesis. Lectures are as boring as they've ever been, so no change at all ^^.
And I finally managed it to sign up to a canoe course  together with my roommate. Although I've been living in Hamburg, a harbour town with water everywhere, for over 4 years before I went to Japan I never managed it to take canoe lessions, so my first time trying it out was last year in Okinawa and it was real fun. Unfortunately the weather in Hamburg and the landscape is slightly different to Okinawa. :)
Aaaah, and I found some cheap plane tickets yesterday. So I decided to go to Edinburgh in June for 2 days.. I always wanted to go to Scotland ever since I was in middle school. Yay, Scotland, Yay! :w00t:
The FAQ pages of the low cost carrier is also pretty interesting. There are questions like "Can I take my parachute with me in the cabin?"
Ah, and it seems that I'm not allowed to take my cross bows, catapults and harpoons in the cabin.  :(  ..... I never go outside without my catapult :crying:
When I told my other roommate (I dunno if he sometimes is a freak or a member of the Russian mafia ;) -  Earlier the day we had a discussion wether it will be a new thrilling fad in 100 years to have your head removed and get a picture of yourself) he asked if it would be okay to take human bodies with you..
little did I know when I checked the newspapers in the Evening: :omg:

Finally it seems that spring is coming through. Last sunday the time in Europe switched to summer time, so it's bright outside until 8pm. Weather is doing the best it can do, so we had everything from 0 to 20 degrees and some nice thunderstorms with lightnings stroke in the neighbourhood leading even to a 2 second power breakdown.  Soon the cherry blossom season is going to start here. Yay!
To talk about the "sad" things, on April 1st the new semester started, so it's time for studying again.
Yesterday two new roommates moved in our dorm apartment, two girls from Indonesia and Berlin.  They both seem very friendly.

I hope you can all spent a nice easter vacation and have fun searching for eg... ah  llamas
